THE LEICESTERSHIRE GUILD OF STORYTELLERS

The guild was established as a direct response to the flourishing storytelling scene in the County of Leicestershire in the East Midlands. Its aim is to promote storytelling both as an artform and in its educational uses through coordination of publicity and joint promotion of events. The guild consists of representatives of all organisations actively promoting storytelling events in Leicestershire and seeks to maintain Leicestershire’s position at the heart of storytelling in England.

For many years it has used Leicester Cities medieval Guild Hall for many of its performances but has recently linked up with Richard Attenborough Centre on the University campus.
