CROMFORD STORYTELLING CAFÉ
THE BOAT INN
CROMFORD

Built in 1772, the Boat Inn is the venue for this Storytelling Café set in the Peak District, one of the most beautiful parts of England. It is also part of the Derwent Valley World Heritage Site being the home of Cromford Mill, the first real mass production factory housing Richard Arkwright’s Water Frame.

In the basement of this tiny pub is the ever popular monthly Storytelling Café. It is the home base for a team of storytellers who are part of the Peak Performance group. These lively storytellers alternate with national and international guests to present their monthly events.

As part of the English Storytelling Network Burton-on-Trent Storytelling Café has presented some the best storytellers in the British Isles as well as international tellers.

Storytelling Café is part of a range of activities run by the Traditional Arts Team www.TradArtsTeam.co.uk
