THE SHAGGY DOG STORYTELLERS present
TALES FROM THE WHARF
at The STUBBING WHARF Pub

The Shaggy Dog Storytellers were formed in 1993 in the upstairs room of the Stubbing Wharf Public House which has been their home ever since. The pub has the distinction of being the only storytelling venue in England that Poet Laureate Ted Hughes ever wrote a poem about!
The last Friday of every month sees the Shaggy Dog Storytellers presenting “Tales from the Wharf” an evening of stories from both professional and amateur but enthusiastic tellers. Shaggy Dog are keen to ensure that there is something for everyone interested in storytelling, either as a listener or a teller.
